Video Furniture

Extremely giant flat screen televisions are often a part of a home theater package and the contemporary TV stands of yesteryear have morphed into a new category known as video furniture.  In addition to merely a place to park the TV and accessories, the video furniture class will also embrace seating, speaker stands and armoires.

In several homes nowadays, especially in family rooms, furniture is now usually centered on the tv or home theatre system instead of vice-versa.  Large screens essentially lend themselves to the possibility of huge furniture pieces, oversized and designed for comfort while viewing movies or programs.

A television stand that is terrific at demonstrating both function and form is the contemporary TV stand from South Shore’s City Life Collection. It will easily handle a flat screen of up to 50 inches. The wood-tone finish is described as honeydew and charcoal and it has metal legs and hardware in a polished silver color. While the combinations sound unreal, all comes together in a cohesive and very enticing fashion.

This isn't any light-weight contemporary tv stand, its shipping weight is a whopping 105 pounds and some, actually quite a bit, of assembly is most definitely required. There are two storage drawers and also large open storage capacity. A five year warranty is a nice addition to this attractively priced piece.

Those who have purchased this up to date TV stand for their homes have been impressed with not only its appearance but its more than generous storage capacity. Beyond sturdy was a term that was used to describe its solidness.  If there was one complaint at all, it had been that this stand needs a great deal of your time to assemble and is not a good selection for the instruction challenged.
